A Tribute to Coalition Founder Connie Baird

We would like to honor Connie Baird who passed away this October (2004).  She was our founder, our prime mover, our co-worker and most especially our friend.  She always enriched the lives she touched and we were privileged to have known her.

Connie Baird Memorial Scholarship

 The Connie Baird Memorial Scholarship was established by the Islip Breast Cancer Coalition to honor the memory of Connie Baird, coalition founder, past president and inspirational leader.  The scholarship is designed to provide a one time award of one thousand dollars to up to three  high school students residing in Islip Township who intend to pursue a career in the field of science.   Applications, with further details, will be made  available through  high school guidance departments.
